Tora-san comes back to his old home in Shibamata. His university professor Mr Okakura (Masakane Yonekura) suddenly arrives at his home which makes Tora-san so angry that he plans to leave home. However, his old friend Chiyo (Kaoru Yachigusa) comes to visit him. The two of them begins to reminisce about old times, and has developed a kind of bonding between them. At the same time, Mr Okakura has become attracted to Chiyo, which makes this the first ever love triangle for Tora-san. Superstar Kinuyo Tanaka has a special appearance in this film.。繁华大都会中，生活着完全没有名气的小漫画家藤沼悟。日常里他靠在餐馆打工为生，平凡无奇的外表下却隐藏着一个奇特的能力。他总在不经意间进入“再上映”的状态，即当事故即将发生时，短时间下进入时空倒流。只有解决掉事故的关键点，才能让时间顺利流逝。在遭遇车祸后，家住北海道的妈妈来到悟的公寓，谁知不久妈妈却被人入室杀害。悟在躲避警察追捕中进入“再上映”，谁知竟然回到了1988年的小学时代。当时同镇名叫雏月加代被连环杀手杀害，而悟最信赖的大哥哥白鸟润则成为嫌疑犯。 仿佛就是为了阻止当年惨剧的发生，悟重新回到了一切悲剧的原点……。
